More about me:

I am the founder and CEO of CrowdVine Social Networks. Our social network software makes it easy for people to connect. CrowdVine is a great tool for conferences or as the social networking foundation for a larger website.

I like to think and talk about social software and running a small business. When I have time I post my thoughts to my blog, stubbleblog.com.

I wrote the Regular Expression Pocket Reference and few articles for O'Reilly Media. You can find the articles listed on my O'Reilly author page.

I'm a regular user of Twitter. I think I have the 7th user account and 25th update.

If you like quotes, you should follow my IHeartQuotes twitter bot or browse the iheartquotes.com website. If you send a quote to @iheartquotes I'll think about posting it for everybody.

My LinkedIn profile is usually current and I'm pretty liberal about who I consider a business contact. If you want an introduction or a recommendation, just ask.

I have a Facebook page, but I'm not very active.

I use Wesabe to manage my finances and have been known to post financial tips (what little I have).

I think Fluther is the best site for getting questions answered and I answer any that I can.

I'm involved in a small number of tiny open source projects. You can follow my contributions on GitHub.

I have high hopes for location-aware social networks and post my location regularly to BrightKite.

I have a personal life that involves spending a lot of time with my lady, SarahM and our dog, Eggs.

Sarah and I aspire to watch every episode of every Law & Order series, in order, while blogging the experience. Follow our progress on blawg-and-order.com and on twitter.

Sarah and I enjoy organizing urban hikes, where we wander a city, stopping at third-rate points of interest. We have some of our hikes up on the urbanhike wiki.

I spend a lot of time using software tools and services, so I appreciate when I find a good one. These are the good ones:

Our house is the Mill Valley drop off spot for the Eatwell farm CSA. We get a box of fresh vegetables and a half-dozen fresh eggs every week.

I'm lucky to have had a great education.
  1. Grinnell College, Computer Science (1996 - 2000)
  2. Lowell High School (1992 - 1996)
